Lanolin dives transdermal and magnificently binds with Dead Sea Minerals (magnesium oil) in Mi’s Get Nurtured and is a superior alternative to Vaseline or petroleum jelly. Used in skin care and cosmetics as far back as 700BC, lanolin can penetrate the moisture barrier of the skin, locking moisture into the skin and helping it to heal.  That combined with deep penetrating, skin conditioning minerals satiate dry and cracked skin.  Lanolin mimics the oil in typical human skin, but when it penetrates the skin, it can hold up to 400 times its weight in water.  Compare that to petroleum jelly (Vaseline), a petrochemical never used in Mi’s product but widely found in products marketed to heal dry skin.  In its natural form, petroleum jelly contains high amounts of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
